People have been making and using pottery in Florida for over 4,000 years! This sturdy material survives in the archaeological record and can teach us a lot about cultures from the past. During this program, kids will learn about the advent of pottery in Florida, and do hands-on experimentation using clay to explore pottery-making and -decorating technology.
